Beware of location

I had searched for hotels within DOWNTOWN Chicago, there was a series of hotel that came up and then I saw The Drake Hotel was available for only $98 dollars, excited, as I am a hotel historian enthusiast, I booked immediately. Thrilled to experience the historic Drake I came upon the front desk and gave my reservation information. The agent was unable to find it, due to the fact that Travelosity gave me Drake Hotel Oakbrook, 45 mins outside downtown Chicago. I was incredibly disappointed and ended up having to pay $221 for a night at the Drake and losing my other reservation completely due to the fact there was no way of getting there. The agent told me that this happens all to often. I went back to search and sure enough 99% of the hotel when searching downtown Chicago via travilocity are within the downtown area, but the Drake is one of the very few that is not in downtown and can be easily confused.
